This class offers children an introduction to playing the flute!  Using the internationally renowned Suzuki Method, students will learn the flute basics through group instruction, songs and games. By the end of the program, students will put on their first concert using a Nuvo Flute! The children will be poised for a wonderful start in the Suzuki Flute program at our school, if they wish to continue. This class is taught by Ridgefield Suzuki School Teacher, Dr. Ti Chung. Dr. Chung has Suzuki training in flute, piano and Early Childhood Education. She holds her D.M.A. in flute performance from Texas Tech University, M.M. Degree from SUNY Purchase College and a B.A. from SUNY Stony Brook University.
