SooJung Sharp began her piano studies at the age of five and presented her first solo recital program at age nine.  Ms. Sharp has performed throughout the U.S., Canada and Korea as a soloist and collaborator, and is among the most actively sought-after collaborators in New England.

Ms. Sharp studied with Jonathan Feldman and Margot Garrett at Juilliard pursuing a Master’s degree.  She has performed in masterclasses with such artists as Mitslav Rostropovich, Bonnie Hampton and Malcolm Martineau. She worked as a staff pianist at Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, Aspen Music Festival and Western Connecticut State University. She was on the faculty at Elm City Chamberfest in New Haven. Many of Mrs. Sharp's students have won prizes at numerous competitions including, Renee B. Fisher Competition, Danbury Concerto Competition and JY Park Piano Competition. Ms. Sharp has completed Suzuki Teacher Training with Mary Craig Powell.
